pool cleaning services - Walnut Creek
Your swimming pool needs regular inspection
Our schedule depends on you. It can be once a week, after a fortnight, or every month. Our professionals are available too on a non-regular basis. However, we advocate for regular servicing to guarantee water quality and the highest level of sanitization.
If your pool’s water pH drops to extreme levels, it can irritate people’s eyes and skins and that is not what you want for your esteemed customers. The pool equipment might also be damaged by acidity (corrosion). The pH affects the efficiency of chlorine and it may interfere with its function of killing algae thereby making your pool turn green. We are the company that will give effective solutions in your spa area. For more information, complete our online contact form or give us a free call on (925) 269-9399.
Your spa requires regular servicing
A spa can be used throughout the year, unlike a pool. So, we are ready to inspect and service your spa any time you need. Nevertheless, infrequent maintenance often leads to unbalanced pH causing further damage. So, the more frequently you call us for spa cleaning, the higher the level of sanitation and durability of your spa becomes. Take advantage of our spa specialists to improve your business.
Seasonal cleaning schedules
During summer, we ensure that the water level exceeds half-way up the skimmer box. We check the level of chlorine at least once per week and adjust it to 2-3ppm. The ideal water balance is when the pH lies between 7.2 and 7.6 with the alkalinity ate 80ppm to 120ppm while calcium at 200ppm to 300ppm. For other chemicals, we check them at least every month. It is our duty to ensure that all pool and spa equipment are at their tiptop shape. We empty skimmers and pump baskets every week; inspect any leaks and disconnected machines; and check the solar heaters.
During the fall, we take extra precaution not to add excess chlorine and minimize the duration of filtration. We maintain a water balance the same way we do in summer.
Filter media replacement
This is part of our pool and spa care services. It is advisable to replace sand after 5 years because it breaks down with time and becomes ineffective in filtering fine debris. Worn out sand is the reason a pool seems cloudy. Cloudy water harbors bacteria and oils that come from people’s skin when they bathe. Backwashing the pool can no longer save the situation because the soil is worn out. Our recommendation is the replacement of the cartridge filter element after 2 to 3 years to ensure maximum filtration of water.
Automated pool dosing
After every half a year, the acid pump tubes need lubrication. But they should be lubricated more frequently in busy spas and depending on usage, they may be replaced after 1 year or less. Periodic cleaning is highly recommended for the chlorine sensors as they are quite sensitive. If you notice a brown-like cover on the sensor’s tip, call us immediately for a thorough clean-up because you might be getting the wrong readings of chlorine level. The ideal appearance of the sensors is glossy gold and that is when the readings are accurate hence you cannot overdose or underdose. The sensor tip is glass in nature and any hairline crack may lead to malfunctioning.
