pool Draining services - Pleasant hill
A time comes when you use your pool less. During this period, your pool is easily subjected to algae. For this reason, enjoying yourself in such a pool is simply impossible. We are experts in draining both above-ground and in ground pools. As much as you can take the initiative to drain your pool by yourself, it is important to do it wisely. You can easily damage your pool thus incurring more maintenance costs.
How do we drain the pool?
A pool can be partially or entirely drained depending on the situation you are in. Pool waste water can be drained on lawns or directed into the sewers. The water will contain lots of dissolved salts thus it should be discarded in the right manner.
For the pools being entirely drained, we bring in special draining equipment like the sump pumps and fire hoses after conducting the pool’s final assessment. The pump is set with the hose lowered into the pool and the pump is switched on. The exercise commences immediately with the waste water directed into the sewer line.
We use mineral and rust removers to clean the scale and stains in the pool while scrubbing the pool’s lining. If your pool happens to have tough stains, we may opt for acid washing which leaves your pool sparkling clean and bright. Once we are done with the cleaning, we refill the pool. Refilling is an easy process which involves opening up the clean water valves and watching the water rise.
Once the pool is full, we add some chemicals to balance the pool water’s pH by checking on the acid and alkaline levels. The whole pool draining, cleaning and refilling process takes about 3-5 hours to complete if we are not delayed by certain unavoidable circumstances.
Our technicians are trained and skilled to work on all types of pools; concrete pools and vinyl lined pools are the most common ones. Call us now on (925)269-9399.
